Duncan Locke ARPS - "Nature Photography – My Journey in Space and Time"
In this talk I want to take you on My Journey in Nature Photography. It started in 1976 with a film SLR and, after a long break, got serious in 2011 photographing Grizzly Bears in Alaska. I have journeyed to many parts of the world photographing nature, recently spending more time in the UK. Earlier this year I became Chair of the RPS Nature Group. Technology is enabling us to photograph the natural world more clearly and comprehensively than ever before. We are being bombarded by images so where am I and Nature Photography journeying next?

Street Portraiture is my passion. This often neglected genre comes with endless opportunities to interact with people from all walks of life, ethnicity and backgrounds. Much of my photography happens in and around the Brick Lane area of the East End of London. It's a place that holds a special place in my affections, several branches of my family have passed this way in the last 150 years..

Clive Haynes FRPS is delivering a number of tutorials on Photoshop. Club members will be able to watch the all of the videos in the tutorial section of the members website.

Martin Addison FRPS- "An Evening of Two Halves"
Martin is a long standing and respected member of our club. For around forty years he has been taking and creating printed images. In the first half of the evening he will show us a range of his prints and tell us about printing techniques and the materials he favours. In the second half of the evening Martin will demonstrate his growing use of the phone as a way of taking photographs. He will show us a range of straight images, but also ones using the increasing range of apps that are available.
