CLUB CHRISTMAS EVENT TUESDAY 10TH DECEMBER 2024

7.15pm for 7.30pm at Bishop Allenby Hall, St Stephen's St, Worcester WR3 7HS

It is my great pleasure to invite you (and a guest) to our club Christmas event. Preparations are well in hand and I’m sure we can look forward to a highly enjoyable evening.

The event will broadly follow the pattern of Christmas events in recent years, with lots to enjoy, but with a dynamic added extra…

Live Music and atmospheric photo shoot

Live music will be provided during the early part of the evening by a professional musician. He invites you to bring your camera (and flash if desired) or your phone and take images while he performs in atmospheric lighting. Our tech team will then capture one or two of your images from you, to be projected later in the evening. This is a unique opportunity to try some photojournalism with instant results! We will aim to select some ‘best shots of the evening’.

Your part

The focus through the evening will be on you and your enjoyment. This is your part to help us achieve that:

  • First, commit to attending, invite a guest, and put It in your diaries. No charge.
  • Make sure our event team know you are attending – for instance, reply to this Blog or tick the attendance list at club events.
  • Wear something Christmassy on the night!
  • Bring desserts or cake to share, plus your own drinks and a glass. We will provide plates plus teas (no savouries this time but you are welcome to bring your own).
  • Bring your camera or phone camera and get those shots! (You can also take anything else in the room subject to usual courtesies)
  • Come in festive mode!

Your Christmas event team will ensure the hall is tastefully decorated and set out suitably for the occasion. You will be welcomed and feted. It will feel like Christmas!

We look forward to your confirmation of attendance and to seeing you on the night. I’ll send you an update with more info nearer the time.

Warm regards
