| Upton-upon-Severn is a very pretty small town situated on the banks of the River Severn, about 6 miles from Worcester. July heralds the annual Jazz Festival, attracting jazz fans from all over the UK. Traditional jazz bands march through the main street, accompanied by Indian drumming bands and groups of lively young dancers. Spectators also join in with hundreds of colourful umbrellas and plenty of dancing in the street. |
