Our first CPG meeting of 2018 was lively with many images and ideas from the large number attending.

We enjoyed a wonderful selection of thoughtful pictures ranging from the recent snowfall and pastoral winter landscapes to the grim claustrophobic confines of Gloucester prison, several unsavoury looking butchers' shops, sharp details of attack aircraft, an interpretation of the Christmas Tree Festival at Worcester Cathedral, aspects of Dartmoor, Welsh Border castles and the evocative  remnants of a disused railway line.  See a selection in the gallery below.  There was much more besides of course, including two excursions into our fund of  'outside sources', one illustrating the frenetic energy of commuting in Japan and in contrast, the other, about the timeless crystalline beauty of rock strata.  Click on image or caption below.

There was much lively and informative discussion about the work presented, lots of good humour and seasonal food to enjoy during the tea break.
