8th DI Challenge 2008. Once again we will view what amazing creations our members can evolve from the images submitted for manipulation. An evening that combines creativity, fun and excursions into weirdness!

22nd Photoshop Techniques with Clive Haynes FRPS. A session during which Photoshop tutor, Clive, will demonstrate practical digital methods of improving pictures, creating images and discovering ways in which personal expression can be better illustrated. The techniques demonstrated will be suitable for an audience of wide ability, from beginners to advanced workers. slides
29th Member's Miscellany.
This is an opportunity for WCC members to show aspects of their work whether as prints, projected images or short AVs. The evening is always full of interest and is a showcase for the range of talent within the club.

5th Foto-Synthesis by Clive Haynes FRPS and Martin Addison FRPS.
Clive and Martin need no introduction to the club - both have been members for more years than they care to recall. This latest version of their 'Foto-Synthesis' presentation will feature prints in sets of 'panels' illustrating their diverse range of imagery and flights of imagination.

19th My Photography by Dave Yates FRPS.
Dave has an enviable reputation as a 'photographer's photographer'. With a special affinity with moody, minimalist, insightful monochrome photography, his pictures illustrate the 'seeing eye' and the subtle nuances of perception.

26th The Transatlantic Exchange - Part 1.
In this first section of the exchange of pictures, we will discover what the members of the Seven Hills Camera Club of Massachusetts think of the images we sent to them on cd in November.
Our comments on their pictures will be revealed on 25th march.

4th My Way with Digital A-V by Richard Brown FRPS.
Richard has a long established reputation for producing award-winning professional quality audio-visual work. He is now using a digital-based system for his 'sequences'. This will prove to be an entertaining evening for everyone, combining Richard's expert photography with his production skills.

11th Double Exposure by Paula Davies ARPS and Guy Davies LRPS.
Husband and wife team, Paula & Guy, will present a wide range of prints that illustrate their individual approaches to the art of photography. Both are successful exhibitors and this talk will provide us with many insights into their unique approach.

April 2008 - all meetings start at 7.45pm except at 7.00pm on 29th
1st Tactile Pictures & Photo Scrapbooking by Sarah McKenna ARPS, and Simon Walden.
This will be a very different evening. Sarah and Simon have distinctive approaches to photography. Both enjoy visually stimulating images and Sarah is renowned for her imaginative style of presentation - she has authored many feature articles about photo-scrapbooking techniques. The evening will include demonstrations showing how you can make pictures that you can touch and feel.

8th Practical Digital Portrait Demo - complete with Models. Graham Whistler FRPS, FBIPP.
Graham is a renowned portrait and commercial photographer and producer of specialist railway video programmes. Today Graham will have travelled from his home in deepest Hampshire to share his portrait techniques with us. This is a practical evening - bring your cameras and get results. Graham will be able to process your digital images and let you have copies on CD. Graham will provide lighting and a backdrop. So come along and learn from a master of the genre - and get some great pictures!

15th All Our Own Work.
This evening we will view the results of the pictures captured during the various practical events and sessions, photo-opportunities, visits and outings during the club season. The pictures can be displayed as prints or projected images (digital and slide).

22nd The AGM. This is the meeting where the club focuses its attention upon how we function and our direction. Committee members are elected and matters relating to the running of the club are discussed.

Worcestershire Royal Infirmary 1746-2002.
A short AV style presentation complementing the long-term WCC "WRI Project" which is recording the transition of Worcester Royal Infirmary in Castle Street from hospital to University campus.

29th Annual Club Show & Buffet. Members celebrate at this end of season function and show. The Annual Show will be judged by Malcolm Ranierii FRPS, MPAGB, DPE**** , followed by presentation of the various awards. Please note that this is an entry by ticket event prints

Other Events
Throughout the year field trips are organised on most Wednesdays and some Saturdays.
The Club's enthusiastic Digital Photography group meet on one evening each month, throughout the year. One to one and group tuition sessions are also arranged.
Various inter-club competitions and International and National Exhibitions will be announced at Club meetings.
The Three Way Contest between Evesham, Wall Heath and Worcester Camera Clubs will be hosted by Wall Heath CC on 5th March 2008.
The Three Counties Contest between Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester Camera Clubs will be hosted by Hereford PS on Thursday 8th November 2007.
